"Like all other parents we love our children more than life. We would do anything to protect them, keep them safe and provide opportunities we didn’t have.
This is a challenge for all parents. In our case even more so due to our daughters life threatening (anaphylaxis) dairy allergy. Especially when trying to find the right daycare and school.
We had tremendous fear and anxiety going into Junior Kindergarten. It was a long, exhausting and heart wrenching search for the right place to start our little angel’s education.
Kingsley was the second last school, of the fifteen or so we researched and visited over a two year period. We were close to home schooling or other not preferred alternatives. It was a little out of our area but after speaking with Julie on the phone we went in for a tour.
In all honesty it looked like an old school, nothing extraordinary. Once we went inside, we could just feel this place was somehow different. Olivia joined the JK/SK class for a story while I walked and talked with the principal. She answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. I was impressed and relieved. When it came time for us to go, Olivia cried and didn’t want to go. This was a very different reaction than she had had at all the other places we toured. Olivia decided in an instant, this was her school. Kingsley has been a Godsend.
Kingsley was willing to work with us to make the necessary adjustments to keep our daughter safe. It wasn’t perfect but we’re close to it now. I was so moved by their dedication to the kids and the school, that I also committed to a 3 year term on the Board of Directors, to improve and grow the school even further.
This is our second year at Kingsley, and we couldn’t be happier. Olivia’s doing fantastically well. She can’t wait to get to school each morning and doesn’t want to leave at the end of each day.
She gets sad on Fridays and looks forward to Mondays. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better start to her education."

"It gives me immense pleasure to write this recommendation for – “KINGSLEY”. The gravity of the choice a parent faces for who is allowed to nurture and support their child's growth through this period cannot be understated. We as a family are so proud and lucky that we discovered this gem for our son who is currently studying in SK. The Principal and the team of excellent teachers raise the bar on a day-to-day basis. Every child is treated as an individual and respected for his/her talent.
'Magic happens here' - in true sense. In no time, the School has nurtured my son and given him the foundation to strengthen himself physically as well emotionally. As a parent we can’t ask for more as this will help my son during the transition years from boy to young adult. This school is a truly magical place and I cannot give a higher recommendation.

It’s hard to compare Kingsley to a public school: Small class sizes, extremely friendly and educated teachers, amazing principal. They take care of kids like their own children. They help them put on snowsuits, warm their lunches, exercise and sing with them, and best of all – you are always informed about how your child is doing.
After seeing how well my older boy was doing at Kingsley – I enrolled my younger son, Danilo, too. He is now a JK student and we’re hopping to keep him there until Grade 5. Danilo is already familiar with all the letters in the alphabet, he recognizes and writes numbers, and he can’t stop talking about his school and his friends there.
